What is it?
Ubud Food Festival is a yearly international event this time held on April 26 to 28. With a “Spice up the world” message, this culinary weekend offers educational sessions as well as a rich variety of dishes – belonging to both the local region and some neighboring Asian countries.
Paid-for and free events
The three-day festival will welcome a hundred of speakers represented by gastronomy professionals, and local and foreign business owners operating in the industry. During the main session, the idea of local cuisine promotion on the world’s scale will be discussed. Attendees can choose from a number of paid and free events to participate. The ticketed ones include master classes, food tours, and special events for children while toll-free ones offer film screenings and music shows, and of course an access to dozens of stands vending food.
What’s on the menu?
Local food and drinks introduced at the festival come from Bali and some other Indonesian provinces, whilst the foreign ones are of Asian origin and represent Thai and Korean delicacies.
