Dubai Butterfly Garden is the biggest closed insectarium in the world where one can find a lot of butterflies.
Furthermore, the owners of the park are breeding butterflies here. The entire park includes 10 pavilions, which are separated from each other and have both different decoration and butterfly species. In total one can find here 15000 butterflies of 26 different species. They are freely flying all around the premise, landing right on the visitors and allowing making astonishing and memorable photos.

The Butterfly Garden supports the full breeding cycle of the exhibited butterflies. The workers of the park are not taking butterflies from the wild nature. Adult butterflies are mating here. The caterpillars are eating the very same food as in the nature living is special feeding stands. The workers of the park are collecting complete pupas, taking them to a separate stand where visitors can watch butterflies hatching from the pupa.

In fact, watching the entire lifecycle of the butterfly and interacting with them and taking photographs of insects on your hands is one of the most popular activities in the Butterfly Garden.
Furthermore, Dubai Butterfly Garden includes a giant museum with a collection of dried butterflies, huge number of educational materials, starting from colorful illustrations and videos and up to special stands with the portraits of the most famous UAE officials made from butterflies.

Dubai Butterfly Garden was open on March 24th, 2015, while the Miracle Garden is open for more than 2 years.
How to get to Dubai Butterfly Garden?
Butterfly Garden is located next to the Miracle Garden
and one has to pass through the parking and the road to get there. It’s really convenient for visitors, because they are able to visit both parks during one trip.
The full address of the Butterfly Garden is Al Barsha South 3, Barsha, Dubailand Area. It’s located right opposite the Motor City and Arabian Ranches.
The cheepest way to get to the Garden is to use the bus #105 or a taxi from the metro station Mall of the Emirates.
Near the Butterfly Garden one can find:

- The Aroma Garden (another expansion of the Miracle Garden)
- The playground for kids
The popular Global Village is located in not more than 15 minutes by car from the park. It offers a huge number of shops and restaurants.
Dubai Butterfly Garden is open all year round without off days. During the working week guests are able to visit the park from 9am till 9pm, while during the weekend visitors are more than welcome here from 9am till 11pm.
During the summer when the Miracle Garden is closed for maintenance, the Butterfly Garden is still working according to the normal schedule.
What is the ticket price of Dubai Butterfly Garden?
In 2017 the price of the adult ticket was increased to 50 AED (around $14). This ticket is valid for adults and children of more than 3 years old. People with limited physical abilities and children of 3 years and less can enter the park for free.
In order to visit the Butterfly Garden one has to buy a separate ticket. The ticket for the Miracle Garden is not valid for the Butterfly Garden.
