What’s included in the price

Diving with sharks includes several important stages. The overall duration is 2.5 hours.

 

  • The safety instruction and “Meeting the world of diving” training takes around 1.5 hours
  • After that, you have to prepare for diving and wear a costume and other equipment 
  • The diving itself lasts 30 minutes, and you will be able to meet with ragged-tooth sharks and other exotic sea creatures
  • At the end of the event, you will get ‘I dived and survived’ certificate from Shark Dive Xtreme

After the diving, you can walk around the Aquarium, looking at the astonishing exhibits and expositions.

Few words about ragged-tooth sharks

Even though ragged-tooth sharks look incredibly scary and have a sharp tooth, they are not dangerous for the people. They prefer eating whole fish. This predator is considered a non-aggressive one. There were less than 30 cases of the ragged-tooth shark attack on the human registered all around the world, and only one person died. As a result, diving with sharks is totally safe, but only if you follow the rules.

Diving with sharks is open daily from 8:30 until 17:30. One has to pay $239 during the working days, and $299 during the weekend.

Please note that diving is a complex and physically hard activity, which can be dangerous for people with asthma, cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, diabetes etc. In case if you have any of the mentioned illnesses or recent traumas, you need to consult with your doctor before making a booking. All the participants are required to fill a detailed medical form.

 

You won’t be allowed to dive, if you drank alcohol in 24 hours, or took a flight in 12 hours before the time of diving. Furthermore, you won’t be allowed to participate if you don’t know how to swim, or if you are less than 14 years old.
