Giorgio Armani stages a fresh exhibition as part of his Silos project. It will start during the nearest Design Week in Milan and run 08/04-28/07/2019. The exposition is going to be the first architecture-themed event of the venue.
With over fifty projects by the Japanese self-taught architect and the winner of Pritzker Prize Tadao Ando, this exhibition will demonstrate sketches, drafts, drawings, video installations, pictures and travelling essays.
The upcoming exhibition is another collaboration between the Italian couturier and the Japanese architect after their 2001 work during creation of Armani’s theatre. This exhibition will also continue the retrospective of Charles Fréger – a French photographer with an almost two-decade long career – that was opened earlier in January to coincide Milan Men’s Fashion Week. The Armani/Silos space unveiled four years ago has been lately arranging displays for talented photographers and artists such as Larry Fink, Sarah Moon and Paolo Ventura, to name a few.
